 WEDNESDAY 5TH - Monday 10th OCTOBER 2022

If you are a writer, at any stage of your writerly journey, and yearning for a writer’s fillip, consider joining fellow writers, published authors and me for two full days of exclusive writerly bliss at this boutique event, and stay on for your readerly fillip for the two-day Festival over two days to make it your writerly-readerly event of the season.

I am looking forward to leading Retreat guests on morning tours to share the natural and built locations that have inspired my short stories. It is a monumental year or two ahead as I prepare to publish the anthology of The Waterloo Series, but that's another story for another time.

The Retreat, and my part in it, is about a small group of writers sharing experiences, from published to emerging to beginners to aspirational, as well as those who have already published.  We 'dig in together' in a glorious rural atmosphere for days of authorial indulgence and to let discussions and imaginations flow.

I just wish we had one of these every three months!

The High Country Writers Retreat is the sister-event to the High Country Writers Festival, to be held simultaneously at The Makers Shed in nearby Glen Innes.  Click into any of the links on this page for more information.  Contact: Retreat Director Virginia Eddy 0412 708315.
